Pinypon are dolls by Famosa that seem to be able to click together and apart in order to change outfits. There has been an entire world created around Pinypon from aparments to hotels, vehicles to mini houses.

These dolls are available in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, and even the USA.

They are quite adorable with their exaggerated cartoon faces and relatively affordable. This set sold by Kmart (USA) is only $3.49. Pinypon comes in many different themes from couples like in the photo above to mermaids, fairies, and flowers.

Nancy is a large fashion doll that seems to be popular in Spain. She is about 13 inches tall. 

She looks like a preteen and has many different clothes, accessories, and personalities.

On her website you can play games. You can watch videos. You can search for your a Nancy doll.

I Love Minnie

The name of these adorable little munchkins is "I love Minnie." They are very cute and they LOVE Minnie Mouse. They also seem to love  shopping!

You can actually buy these little cuties here . Just search "I Love Minnie" and your options will pop up. I am not sure about shipping prices, though.

These dolls are so precious. I love their shape and how they have Minnie-like style. As a kid I would have adored them being a huge Minnie fan myself.

Hola, Barriguitas

So, today I'd like to talk about these little dolls that seem to be popular in Spanish speaking countries and Portugal. They are called  Barriguitas. 

Barriguita translates to "tummy" which I'm assuming refers to the fact that they are a bit chubby. This serves to make them super adorable.

This particular commercial is for a school play-set where the dolls can learn things like English and Anatomy. It appears that there are many different Barriguitas and sets. If you search YouTube you can come up with quite a few commercials.

There is a beach play-set where the dolls can get "sunburned" and a hospital where the dolls can go to have a baby or get patched up after a fall.

If you go to their website you will find it is in Castellano which is the Spanish spoken in Spain with an option to view it in Portuguese. Like other main toy sites they have a product page where you can view different products. 

One of my favorite things about the Barriguitas is the way their play-sets and houses are mostly wider than they are tall unlike a Barbie house where the room so up instead of across.

So far, I cannot find any place to buy Barriguitas dolls or play-sets that ships to the U.S.A. If you know a place, you should get in touch with me.
